Module One: How Feeding Challenges Develop
Learning to eat a variety of foods isn’t always easy for kids. We’ll walk you through Coach Mel’s Stacking Model, which we’ll use for the foundation for this course. Learn about commonly missed physiological & sensory challenges plus important motor skills vital to becoming an adventurous eater. There is a root cause for picky eating and there are solutions!

Module Two: Babies
Make sure that babies have a joyful feeding experience right from the start!From pacifiers to purees, we’ll share the pros and cons! How about spoons – do you know the correct way to use it and which one is best for each stage of baby’s development? There’s so much more to learn. In fact, the Baby Module has much more content served up in short lessons to make it manageable and fun

Module Three: Toddlers
Oh, the terrific (and troublesome) toddler stage! We have some surprising information for you – and just as many tips to make this stage in your kiddos’ journey a bit less bumpy if you have a picky eater.

Module Four: School Age
Kids ages 3 to 6 are exposed to so many influences outside the home – and that includes unhealthy food choices. If you have a picky eater, it can add to your concern that they are not getting enough nutrients throughout the day. We’ll share practical tips to help both you and your child learn to try new foods, even at school.

Module Five: Strategies for the Whole Family
Involving the whole family helps even the most selective eaters become more adventurous over time. Learn specific strategies to develop a hunger schedule by marking the beginning and end of the meal. We’ll talk about the important difference between snack times vs. mealtimes. Dr. Yum explains how to find time to provide healthy meals for your family. We’ll share tips on how to present new foods to the entire family, even if it’s a new food. Coach Mel explains how to play The Vegetable Game during family mealtimes – it’s fun for toddlers, preschoolers, school age kids and parents too! We’ll also show you how to cook one meal and adapt it just slightly for babies, toddlers or your hesitant eater.

Module Six: Hesitant Eater or Something Else
Sometimes picky eating is more serious than parents realize. We’ll share the red flags that will alert you to speak to your child’s doctor and where to seek support.
